Kunskapsskolan was founded in 1999 and runs 33 schools in Sweden - 23 secondary schools (ages 12-15) and 10 upper secondary schools (ages 16-19). All our schools are state-funded, free of charge and non-selective. |
In October 2007 we opened our offices in London with the aim of establishing our educational concept in the United Kingdom.
* Kunskapsskolan is Swedish and means 'the Knowledge School'. Our name is a reaction against those arguing that a school's main mission should be anything else but ensuring that students learn as much as possible through the school's education.
