Our vision is to operate outstanding schools in which every student, through personalised learning and clear goals, stretches their boundaries and achieves more than they thought possible.
|
Kunskapsskolan was founded in 1999 and runs 30 schools in Sweden - 20 secondary schools (ages 12-15), 1 school for special needs and 9 upper secondary schools (ages 16-19). All our schools are state-funded, free of charge and non-selective. |
In October 2007 we opened our offices in London with the aim of establishing our educational concept in the United Kingdom. We have already been named preferred sponsors of two Academies-to-be in Richmond-upon-Thames, and look forward to working together with students, teachers, parents and the local authorities.
* Kunskapsskolan is Swedish and means 'the Knowledge School'. Our name is a reaction against those arguing that a school's main mission should be anything else but ensuring that students learn as much as possible through the school's education.
