Our vision is to operate outstanding schools in which every student, through personalised learning and clear goals, stretches their boundaries and achieves more than they thought possible.
Kunskapsskolan was founded in 1999 and runs 30 schools in Sweden - 20 secondary schools (ages 12-15), 1 school for special needs and 9 upper secondary schools (ages 16-19). All our schools are state-funded, free of charge and non-selective.
In October 2007 we opened our offices in London with the aim of establishing our educational concept in the United Kingdom.

We have already been named preferred sponsors of two Academies-to-be in Richmond-upon-Thames, and look forward to working together with students, teachers, parents and the local authorities.

* Kunskapsskolan is Swedish and means 'the Knowledge School'. Our name is a reaction against those arguing that a school's main mission should be anything else but ensuring that students learn as much as possible through the school's education.
